I love the season of dogwood trees blooming! We have gorgeous wild whites, and all around the gardens, and as you walk the streets you see pinks ranging from white pink to deep salmon. I took a walk around the block to take reference pictures and painting this little painting.An ACEO is always 2.5"x3.5" . This is painted with artist quality watercolor (including some wonderful granulating colors) on artist quality 140lb cold press paper. oh yes, lovely! and everytime I see dogwood, I think of Mom, who always said it was her favorite! nicely done!
So pretty! I painted dogwoods this Spring too. Now I want to plant a dogwood tree.
