ACEO - Art Card

Size: 2.5 x 3.5 inches

This is little painting is 10th in a Series of 12 Snowflakes. I cannot believe we are two weeks away from Christmas Eve. With the start of the holiday seasons upon us we have the start of the snowflakes falling from the sky.

I have turned a few of the images from my Snowflakes series into wearable art jewelry which is now available in my Etsy Shop.

I love snowflakes!

Snowflake Series

Snowflakes 5 of 12

ACEO Art Card

Original Watercolor Painting

Size: 2.5 x 3.5 inches

I've created a series of 12 snowflake ACEOs by painting one large snowflake painting and cutting it up into 12 individual ACEOs. Shown here is Snowflakes 5. On my own blog, I blogged about the inspiration for this series: http://ritasquier.blogspot.com. This snowflake and more from the series are available in my Etsy shop: http://squier.etsy.com.

Pretty soon we will be seeing real snowflakes floating from the sky.

SnowFlake Fantasy

I am new to the group (hi!), so I thought I would introduce myself with my latest ACEO.

This card was inspired by the FAE (Fantasy Artists of Etsy) Street Team's Snowflake Fantasy contest. You can see some of the other entries here.

This is MY fantasy. Small dragonlings carefully guide each snowflake to its designated spot in the sky so that it will fall "just so" and at exactly the right time. This ACEO is my own interpretation of the magic in the ordinary.
