here is how to make an air drying atc card
Here are some samples of air dried clay cards I have been experimenting with lately. This is how they are made.
I made the card itself from DAS an air hardening modelling clay in white. I rolled it out in the correct aceo card shape 3.5" x 2.5" and let it air dry for 2 days. Then I painted the background with a mixture of different Ranger Adirondak paints. The rippled sides were painted with silver paint. The trees and the snow are sprinkled with diamond glitter. Then I glued a hand painted group of three pine trees standing in the snow to the surface and spray the entire card with a high gloss spray and let it dry. The top of each tree has a Swarovski AB crytal. It dried with one side slightly tilted up which adds to its artist flair.
If you need any help or have any questions , just convo me.
