I've been exploring mixed media, recently, and thought that it was time that I used some of those techniques in an ACEO or two. This is the first of them, White Butterfly. It started off as a painting, which I then collaged with tiny pieces of tissue paper, and overpainted, to show the texture. And finally, I added a felt butterfly. I love butterflies; they are a symbol of change, and they crop up repeatedly in my aceos. White Butterfly is available here along with other ACEOs I have made using this technique...enjoy!
