During the summer and fall we spend a great deal of time in the Adirondack mountains in upstate New York. Traveling and hiking through the woods has inspired many of my watercolor paintings.

A black cat sits in a tree watching the setting sun. Some of the autumn leaves are dancing in the sunset sky. I have used pen and ink with watercolour on heavyweight unbleached washi. I really like megalithic landscapes and I have made many images of these standing stones or sculptures since I visited the Nine Standards in Cumbria UK in 1999.
