Colorful Floral Expressions in Watercolor by Heartful Art's Raphaella Vaisseau

Presenting two new art cards for you in my heartfulart Etsy shop. The top one is "Opening to the Day" and below it is "Cacophony" - both ACEOs are original paintings on Fabriano watercolor paper by Raphaella Vaisseau.

These and thirteen other original ACEOs can be found in the ACEO Original Art Cards section of my Etsy shop.

My collection continues to grow. My latest ACEO purchase is on the way to me from Nova Scotia - two little pink valentine hearts with French love words, painted by Jo-Ann Dziubek-MacDonald of jdmstudios. I can't wait to receive it. While I'm waiting for it to arrive, I'll happily browse all of your shops for more. Thanks for creating art and sharing it. - Raphaella

"A New ACEO for The ACEO Challenge"

Hi all!  It's been a bit since I have made an original ACEO so I decided to take on this month's ACEO Challenge with its theme of "April Showers".  I have additionally taken on a challenge from my hubby to draw a picture of our little miniature pinscher, "Danny Boy".  Drawing animals is, in itself, a very big challenge to me so I have really made a concerted effort to study Danny Boy and finally came up a small illustration that I will actually share.  Bear in mind that Danny Boy loves flowers (he is always burying his little nose into any flowers he finds on his travels) but its "I'm out of here" when it comes to showers!  That said, it took a real act of courage by him to pose for this illustration, he hopes you appreciate his efforts.

This little ACEO is titled "April Showers Bring Sweet Flowers"

May you always have

Love to Share,

Health to Spare,

And Friends who Care!

"Celtic Knot Shamrock"

St. Patrick's Day is on its way and I thought now would be a good time to try my hand at some Celtic Knot designs. My first attempt at this beautiful style of art is a piece I have titled "Celtic Knot Shamrock".   I have the original ACEO as well as Open Edition ACEO art prints now available in My Etsy Shop.

"Celtic Knot Shamrock"

I am going to try my hand at some more celtic knot designs and hope to be sharing them with you in the near future.  Wish me luck (of the Irish?) in my latest endeavors!

"The Letter H"

Happy Day!  Make way for "The Letter H"!  Hoo-Ray!  I have listed "The Letter H" in My Etsy Shop today.  I have it available as an Authorized Art Print, size 8"x10"; and as an Open Edition ACEO, size 2.5"x3.5".

CraftyMoose correctly guessed that I was working on "H", good going CraftyMoose!  The letter I will be illustrating next begins the word of something her husband loves, you can check out CraftyMoose's Etsy Shop or CraftyMoose's Blog for the clue.  It is in one of those sites!

"The Letter H"

Happy Day to all!

"The Letter C"

"The Letter C" is now complete!  All the while I was working on it I kept thinking of cotton candy, so when it came to painting the background I tried to make it look like pink cotton candy with sugar flecks.   I think it came out rather well.

I will be listing "The Letter C" in My Etsy Shop as an authorized art print, size 8"x 10"; as well as reduced ACEO open edition format size of 2.5"x 3.5".

I have decided to randomly select the remaining twenty-two letters, so in the future I will be surprising you with "Which letter is she working on now?"!

For now, I am pleased to present ....

"The Letter C"

Happy Day to one and all!

"The Letter B"

Hot diggety dog!  I finished "The Letter B"!  Three down, only 23 letters yet to do!  I'll be adding "The Letter B" to My Etsy Shop as an authorized art print, size 8" x 10"; and in ACEO Open Edition Format, size 2.5" x 3.5".  I am really enjoying this project and eager to get started on the next letter ...

"The Letter B"

Happy Day to all!

"The Letter A"

I completed "The Letter A" this morning and am happy to present it to you now.  I will be listing it in My Etsy Shop in authorized art print form, size 8" x 10", as well as ACEO open edition format, size 2.5"x 3.5".

"The Letter A"

Well, I'm off to work on "The Letter B", have a grand day everyone!
