New ACEOs at Plastic Pumpkin

New ACEOs at Plastic Pumpkin Designs (oh, and I finally figured out how to use the Acetsy blog with my Blogger ID. LOL).

I've got a few new ACEOs to tempt my fellow ACEtsyians with, including gocco print versions, limited edition photo prints, and new originals.

My sassy red-headed art nude (Classy Crotch, hee hee) was done using a Gocco printer on nice, handmade paper. She's sweet, sassy, and simple. Expect more variations of this lively lass in the near future, too.

I've also posted a few new originals (one of which is the Chinese lantern sketch, at left). The lanterns were done with hand-ground ink and a bamboo pen on rice paper). I enjoyed giving them a roughly hewn, almost primitive feel.

Stop by my Etsy shop and view my other ACEOs, too! If you're a member of ACEtsy--be sure to mention acetsy in the order comments area, if you purchase an ACEO form me. You'll get a free ACEO along with your purchased one, every time.

Happy "arting" everyone.

I am really happy how this card turned out. I combined blue and coral and the combination is wonderful.

She Was Always In Her Head

Mature ATC up for trade or PIF

My father accidentally offended a coworker of his while showing her my shop. Thinking I had all stuffed animals, he was surprised to see my mature (bondage/fetish-themed) ACEO.

So I'd like to remove it from my shop, but I'd like someone who wants it to have it.

I'd be up for an ATC swap, or I will PIF it for the cost of shipping and the $0.20 cent listing fee.

Here she is: http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=5731786

I'm not adding a picture, because it's not appropriate for all the beautiful (and family-friendly) images that abound on this blog. :)

ladybug 79 ACEO

A first: I've taken one of my photos and made an ACEO. From my shop listing:

This original ACEO is made from photograph taken of an assemblage-type mural in San Francisco's Mission District.

Since the image is cut down to size from a larger print and has a decorative back, more may be made but no two will ever be identical.

The photo is professionally printed on matte-finish Fuji Crystal Archive paper, that, quoth the lab, "with its 108 year rating ... will last for generations to come."

The back of the card is black Canson drawing paper, torn at the edges to create a "deckle" effect visible from front and back.

The back will be initialed and dated by the artist.
2.5 x 3.5 inches (standard ACEO size).
Completed 05.02.07
Archival, acid-free materials used whenever possible.
Protected in a clear plastic PVC-free trading-card sleeve, 2-5/8 x 3-5/8 inches in size.
Shipped flat in stiff weatherproof cardboard packaging for protection.
